Overview

Manufacturer members of BOMcheck can use the provided API to automate data download from BOMcheck to their in-house IT systems. The two main BOMcheck API endpoints can be used to retrieve two distinct types of data from the BOMcheck platform:

  1. Integration Data

Provides generic integration data in XML format including:

  • Substance Categories
  • CAS numbers
  • Exemptions
  • Suppliers
  1. Substance Declaration Data

Provides substance declaration data from specified suppliers and parts in industry standard IPC 1752A XML or Excel CSV formats. You may use the substance declaration data API to map supplier declarations against your in-house IT system part numbers and roll up compliance data for a full BOM parts list to calculate compliance for any of your finished products. You can then manually upload the resultant substance declaration for the finished product to BOMcheck for your customers to access.
