We're excited to announce the launch of BOMcheck Version 9.0 which introduces significant supply chain collaboration improvements for both manufacturers and suppliers.

Please note that this release contains no regulatory content additions or amendments.

What’s changed in v9.0?

[Redesigned] New & improved supply chain management

Version 9.0 is more than an incremental UI refresh. The following areas have been redesigned from the ground up based on two years of structured customer feedback (30+ improvement items tracked, 20+ shipped in this release):

• Supplier Invitations: streamlined process for onboarding new suppliers to the network
• Supplier Campaigns: rebuilt and extended to cover more product types (Equipment, Batteries & Packaging), clearer tracking of request status across all parts and data types, including new supplemental and circularity/EPR data requests
• Supplier Network: improved discovery and connection with suppliers on BOMcheck
• Customer Requests (supplier side): suppliers now get improved clarity on what's been requested, what's outstanding, and what's complete benefiting from the direct and context based follow-ups facilitated by the direct messaging features

These views now provide a clearer overview of request progress for cooperating parties, with fewer clicks to request, assess and respond to the information that matters.

[New] Internal messaging with suppliers

Every supplier campaign now includes a messaging channel alongside the request tracker. Manufacturers and suppliers can follow up on incomplete declarations, clarify regulatory questions, confirm part status, and coordinate on deadlines without leaving the platform.

Messages are scoped per request campaign, visible to all users at both the manufacturer and supplier organisation, threaded, and timestamped, keeping collaboration audit-ready and eliminating the need for internal forwarding.

[Improved] Integration with existing BOMcheck tools

The supply chain workflows are no longer siloed from the rest of the platform. From any request or campaign view, users can now:

• Open all parts from a request directly in Compliance Search
• Create new or update existing declarations directly from Customer Requests
• Use Quick View to access deeper context, insights and data

The next version will expand BOMcheck's coverage for EPR and DPP requirements:

• Battery declarations: support for EU Battery Regulation compliance data
• Packaging compliance: enhanced support for EU PPWR compliance data
• Digital Product Passport (DPP) readiness: closing the gap on material composition, circularity data requirements and interoperability in preparation for Battery Passports

Previous release: v8.5

Version 8.5 was released on 27 February 2026 and included the latest regulatory content and substance list updates to BOMcheck. Suppliers who have not yet reviewed and updated their declarations will find detailed guidance on the version page here.
