Additionally, SCIP S2S module extension annual renewals will increase by 4% from 1st January 2023. SCIP S2S costs will remain the most affordable on the market and will continue to be provided based on company revenue to ensure fair and affordable pricing is provided to all actors within the supply-chain.

Please note that the prices given here are specific to existing customer renewals applicable on or after 1st January 2023. For up-to-date BOMcheck pricing for new accounts please see the publicised BOMcheck Account Pricing Page.

Why is this pricing change taking place?

This is the first time BOMcheck pricing has been increased in over 10 years of operation. During this time, BOMcheck has significantly increased the scope of regulated and declarable substance compliance and supply-chain management and disclosure which is facilitated through the platform.

To ensure that we can continue to deliver high quality solutions to our customers given the increasing scope of the substance compliance landscape, the current economic environment and the increase in costs which are incurred to the BOMcheck business, it is essential we make this relative increase to our pricing.

Microsoft increased business subscription pricing by up to 25% in 2022 (12.5% - 25% account dependant) due to an increase in costs. The continuity of BOMcheck as a highly available cloud-based system is subject to similar increases in business costs (cloud compute/storage, vendor costs and infrastructure maintenance are a few examples).

Sphera will continue to assume a proportion of incurred cost increases and will pass on only costs deemed essential for business continuity to ensure BOMcheck remains the most cost-effective substance compliance platform on the market.

When will I have to pay the new price?

New prices will be applicable for all standard Supplier and Superuser account renewals on or after the 1st January 2023. Active BOMcheck accounts that are currently within the 12 month use period will not need to pay the new pricing until their renewal date in 2023.
